WATCH IT AGAIN: SpaceX launches Turkish satellites from Florida

[ad_1]

CAPE CANAVERAL SPACE FORCE STATION, Fla. – A SpaceX rocket launch took off on Monday evening from the Space Coast, and the poor weather didn’t delay it.

SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station with a four-hour window.

The launch ultimately went up at 7:30 p.m., over two hours into that window.

The rocket is carrying a Turksat 6A satellite. Forecasters with the 45th Space Wing predicted a 70% chance that weather would disrupt the launch, though it still went up despite those odds.

The first stage booster separated and returned to Earth, landing on a droneship in the Atlantic Ocean. It’s the 15th flight for the booster.
