As you may have heard, two Samsung app updates meant to go live with the upcoming One UI 7.0 update leaked earlier today. The apps in question are Clock and Samsung Internet, and now, we decided to take these leaked updates out for a test drive in a new video, which you can watch below.
These leaked app updates are not available officially, and we wouldn’t blame you if you don’t want to sideload them on your phone, especially since Samsung now disables sideloading on its latest phones by default. However, if you’re still curious about the leaked updates, you can find out all there is to know about them in our video.
Below, we compare the One UI 6.1 and One UI 7.0 versions of the Clock and Samsung Internet apps and highlight all the changes and additions we found. There aren’t that many, but as you might expect, the updated apps come with redesigned icons. And there’s more.
We also found a handful of UI changes to the Clock app and also a ton of similarities. There are some minor differences in fonts. But the biggest change must be the addition of icons in the toolbar at the bottom. Check out the video above for a closer look.
Mildly disappointing is that the One UI 7.0 version of Samsung Internet hasn’t received as many tweaks as the Clock app. But it is worth remembering that these leaked builds are not officially available and may be subject to change by the time Samsung releases them. We’ll keep an eye out for any new features we might find in the future. Make sure you subscribe to our YouTube channel for more Samsung and One UI content.
