Imaginary
DeWanda Wise (“Jurassic Park: Dominion”) will star in and executive produce “Imaginary” for Lionsgate and Blumhouse Productions. The film, which wrapped filming pre-strike, is set to be released on March 8th. Jeff Wadlow directs the film which was first teased with a sensory trailer in cinemas with “Five Nights at Freddy’s” the other week. [Source: Lionsgate]

Peaches
Emma Corrin (“The Crown”) and Lucie Zhang (“Paris, 13th District”) will star in Jenny Suen’s English language feature debut “Peaches” which Cate Blanchett executive produces this reimagining of Vera Chitylova’s 1966 Czech New Wave comedy “Daisies”.

Set in contemporary Hong Kong, the movie will follow two spoiled best friends who scam sugar daddies for a living. When they discover a Hermes Birkin bag they were gifted is a fake, their ‘boyfriends’ and crimes catch up with them. [Source: Deadline]

Nintendo Switch
Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa has denied that the company is working on a two-screen successor to its successful Switch handheld console. In a press conference about the company’s fiscal year, he shot down Switch 2 rumors as “untrue”.

He also reportedly rejected reports of shared development kits, and a closed-door presentation taking place at Gamescom 2023. Even a recent dual-screen gaming device patent filing he says “does not mean that it will be installed in a product”. [Source: Coming Soon]

Wish
Disney Pictures has premiered a new clip from their upcoming animated feature “Wish” which shows off the new song “I’m A Star” from the anticipated film. Julia Michaels and Benjamin Rice penned the song.

The film is an all-new story is set in the magical kingdom of Rosas, where Asha, an optimist with a sharp wit and a deep caring for her community, makes a wish. Her plea is answered by a little ball of boundless energy, Star.
