Now Fly Direct From Tokyo To Doha With Japan Airlines’ Non-stop Flight Services

Japan Airlines (JAL) has launched non-stop flight services between Doha’s Hamad International Airport and Tokyo’s Haneda Airport, enhancing air connectivity between these major destinations.

With a code-share service with Oneworld Alliance member Qatar Airways, JAL becomes the first Japanese airline to offer direct flights to and from the Middle East. This new route under the partnership provides seamless connectivity to various destinations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and South America.

An inaugural ceremony commemorating this milestone event took place on March 31, 2024, featuring a water cannon salute as Japan Airlines flight JL059, operated by a 203-seater Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner — JAL SKY SUITE, landed in Doha.

According to reports, Ross Leggett, Japan Airlines Managing Executive Officer and Route Marketing Senior Vice President highlighted the growing demand for both business and leisure travel between Doha and Asia, emphasising that this high-quality service will further accelerate this trend, enhancing the overall customer experience.

Leggett also emphasised that this new Doha flight service in partnership with Qatar Airways “perfectly complements JAL’s global network”.

The aircraft offers a two-class configuration, including 52 JAL SKY SUITE Ⅲ fully flat seats for business class and 151 JAL SKY WIDER seats for economy class. Additionally, passengers can enjoy JAL’s latest inflight entertainment system, Magic-VI, featuring touchscreen monitors for each seat. Fee-based inflight Wi-Fi services are also available upon request.
