Norka’s Triple Win scheme ensures recruitment of 300 Kerala nurses to Germany

Thiruvananthapuram: 300 nursing professionals will be recruited to Germany through the second phase of Norka Roots Triple Win scheme, which enrol nursing professionals in Kerala to Germany. Those who have completed graduation or diploma in nursing and have an experience of at least a year can apply for the opportunities in Germany from July 16 to 25.

Norka, German Federal Employment Agency and German Agency for International Cooperation jointly conduct the free recruitment for nursing professionals.

Interview in Thiruvananthapuram

The candidates will be selected after an interview in Thiruvananthapuram from November 11. Soon, German language training will be provided for the selected candidates through A1, A2 and B1 level courses, which are free of cost. The applicants can avail a concession of 250 Euros if they could pass the A2 level and B1 level in their first attempts. The initial appointments will be as assistant nurses. Candidates who pass the B2 level will be recruited as registered nurses.

A monthly income of 2300 to 2800 Euros will be dispensed till promoted as registered nurse. 20 to 35 per cent of over time allowance will be granted for each extra hour. Only candidates who can attend the German training classes directly from the centres allotted by the Goethe Institute shall apply in the scheme. Those who already work abroad cannot apply under the scheme. The candidates have to be residing in India permanently for the past 6 months. Both male and female candidates can apply without any age limit.

Priorities for following candidates

Priorities will be given for candidates who have a work experience of 3 years/ expertise in German language/ experience in homecare/ nursing home/ intensive care unit/ geriatrics/ cardiology/ general ward/ surgical-medical ward/ neonatology/ neurology/ orthopaedics and related sectors/ operation theatre/ psychiatry.
