Katy Perry Wore Ripped Tights and No Top to the Balenciaga Couture Show

No shirt? No problem. Katy Perry stepped out for the Balenciaga Fall/Winter 2024-2025 Haute Couture show in Paris today wearing a look that might’ve gotten her barred from certain restaurants, but didn’t break any fashion rules for Couture Week.

With a new song and a new album on the horizon, the “Never Really Over” singer is clearly ready to step back into the spotlight, and she totally stole the spotlight with her dramatic look for the show, which featured plenty of body-baring moments.

Up top, Perry went completely shirtless, letting her torso show through as she wore a giant fluffy black coat left open. The maxi outerwear featured grooves of fabric that mirrored the fur of an animal’s pelt, and the piece featured a thick collar, which Perry popped up behind her head like an Elizabethan whisk.

As for her bottom half, the former American Idol judge wore a pair of black Balenciaga stocking pantaleggings that morphed straight into pointy heels at the bottom. With all the tears across them, you might’ve thought Perry got into some sort of a scuff with a KatyCat, but these rips were purposeful, with the distressed details continuing all across Perry’s tights.

To complete the look, the singer accessorized with a simple pair of oversize sunglasses, which added to the overall cool of her ensemble. Meanwhile, she had her hair tightly slicked back into a braid at the top of her head and she rocked a pale pink lip, which matched the nude color of her square nails.
