The Taliban say a gun attack in central Afghanistan has killed four people, including three foreign tourists, and wounded some others.
European and US media outlets say the three foreign victims are Spanish tourists.
The shooting took place on Friday in a shopping area in Bamiyan province, known for its Buddhist heritage registered on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
The Taliban interim government says four people have been detained for alleged involvement in the case.
Foreign tourists have been visiting Afghanistan as the country’s security situation is improving. The Taliban have intensified crackdowns on extremists since they retook power three years ago.
