Fire crews across capital attend blaze at residential address

London Fire Bridgade (LFB) said that four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a blaze in Elizabeth Avenue, Islington, yesterday (November 17).
The Brigade was called at 12.56pm that day and fire crews from Shadwell, Soho, Homerton and Dockhead fire stations attended the scene.
LFB tackled the fire for over an hour, before the blaze was put under control by 2.03pm.

There were no reports of any injuries and LFB said on X, formerly Twitter, that thankfully no one was hurt.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
