Police have released the 911 tapes made by the personal assistant of Vontae Davis after she found him dead in his Florida home.

The former NFL player’s death this week shocked the football community as investigators are still looking for answers as to the cause behind the 35-year-old’s untimely passing.

Local law enforcement stated that Davis’ personal assistant made the initial 911 call after a woman in the home found Davis unresponsive in the gym area of the house, WPLG reported

“She arrived and he’s on the ground of the residence,” the assistant told 911 in the call. “She froze. He called me and she didn’t even speak — that’s why I called.”

“Last time I saw him was Friday and I know that someone saw him Saturday — one of the drivers,” she told the dispatcher in another clip of the call.

The dispatcher was able to get a hold of the woman who initially made the discovery on the phone, and the portions of that conversation were redacted before being publicly released.

Police have ruled that no foul play was suspected in Davis’ death.

On Tuesday, cleanup, restoration crews and security crews — along with detectives — were spotted at the residence, which belonged to his grandmother in Southwest Ranches, Florida, WPLG reported.

Davis appeared in 121 games over his 10-year career, which included time with the Dolphins, Colts and Bills.

He earned two Pro Bowl nods during his time with the Colts and signed a one-year contract with the Bills in 2018, only to retire in the middle of a game that September

During the course of his career, Davis recorded 22 interceptions and 97 passes defended.
