Deadpool & Wolverine Producer Wants to See MCU Series Villain Meet Wade Wilson

Ryan Reynolds’ Wade Wilson is so quick-witted that there may not be many other Marvel Cinematic Universe characters who could keep up. However, Deadpool & Wolverine producer Wendy Jacobson knows who could go toe-to-toe with Wade.
The subject of potential crossovers for Wade to have next after Deadpool & Wolverine came up with the filmmakers in the newest issue of Total Film. Jacobson said she’d love to see a crossover with Deadpool and Titania, the villain played by Jameela Jamil in the Marvel Studios series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Because Titania is also a “razor-sharp” character, Jacobson feels that she would make a good match for Wade.

This Deadpool 3 X-Men Cameo is the Most Exciting
Of all the X-Men confirmed/rumored to appear in Deadpool 3, I think the most exciting is the return of Sabretooth. Having Logan bounce off of (and battle against?) his brother is almost always engrossing. Even in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, this relationship was arguably the best part of an otherwise treacherous moviegoing experience. Which X-Men cameo are you most excited for in Deadpool & Wolverine?
“She’s such a heightened, hilarious character and also an actor who can improv and is razor-sharp and can banter,” she explained. “I can’t imagine being an actor, period, but I can’t imagine having to work opposite someone like Ryan Reynolds, who is just so quick and so smart and so funny all the time – but that woman could handle it.”

Director Shawn Levy had a different pick in mind for a crossover. He said how he’d love to take on a crossover film that would see Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool alongside Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. It’s an interesting concept, given how Holland’s Spidey already has experience with the multiverse.

How One Upcoming Marvel Hero Can Take Over as the Face of the MCU
Iron Man and Captain America were the faces of the MCU, and now an upcoming hero finally has a chance to take over that mantle.
“The thing about Deadpool is I think he makes everything more interesting because of his audacity,” Levy said. “But, boy, I’d sure love to see Deadpool and Spidey. That’s a movie I’d love to make. I feel like Tom Holland would run circles around everyone else.”
There Will Be Many Big Cameos in Deadpool & Wolverine
Of course, Deadpool will be interacting with many unexpected characters in Deadpool & Wolverine. Several X-Men franchise characters have already been revealed to be included in the marketing for the movie, and it’s certain that many major special appearances are being saved for the release of the film. The stars of the film have held back on confirming or denying any particular rumors just to keep the speculation going until the movie’s release.
“You know, movies like this…there’s so much speculation about so many people that might end up in the film,” Reynolds said of the cameo rumors surrounding the film, per Fandango. “I saw one that was convinced that Elvis is in the movie. Anything can happen, and that’s sort of what I love about this universe. Surprises are the essence of Deadpool.”
Deadpool & Wolverine will premiere in movie theaters on July 26, 2024.
