Chris Minns must ‘take on the whingers’ to ensure Sydney’s prosperous future

The Daily Telegraph Editor Ben English expects Chris Minns to commit to holding planning authorities to account as the NSW Premier looks to outline his future plans for Sydney at the Bradfield Oration.
The Premier will be joined by leaders from Sydney’s business, university, tourism and cultural sectors to discuss what the harbour city needs to ensure a robust and prosperous future.
Mr English claimed Sydney is a “world leader” in complaints with many bold ideas for the city often facing backlash.
“I like the rhetoric from Chris Minns so far in that he is going to take on the nimbies, he is going to take on the whingers and we have to do that,” he told Sky News Australia.
He also called for politicians in the NSW government to “create the vision” and then everyone will follow.
