Cerundolo knocks out Ruud to reach the last 16 in Paris

Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo won against Norwegian Casper Ruud, the No 8 seed, 7-5, 6-4 to advance to the last 16 of Paris Masters at the Accor Arena.

Cerundolo, ranked No 21, will play Pole Hubert Hurkacz, the No 11 seed, next.

The Argentinian edged out Frenchman Gael Monfils (4-6, 7-6 (2), 7-5) ahead of his victory.
