Broadcast options for Celtic supporters vs Ross County amid TV blackout today
[ad_1]
Celtic supporters in the UK & Ireland will be reduced to audio commentary as the only legitimate means of getting live updates from Dingwall today as the Bhoys play Ross County, unless you are lucky enough to have a ticket.
Sky Sports opted not to select today’s game for live coverage and the SPFL have decided not to pursue pay-per-view streams this season following a couple of progressive years on that front owing to the pandemic.
With an away allocation of less than 2,000 from Ross County, it means tens of thousands of regularly paying Celtic supporters are effectively shut out from contributing in any meaningful way to Scottish football this weekend.
Celtic TV are carrying live audio commentary to subscribers on these shores, although those signed up to the service overseas will get the full live video.
BBC Radio Scotland will also be carrying live commentary.
Many will argue there are other, less legitimate methods of watching the game. However, VPNs are against the terms and conditions of a Celtic TV subscription and accessing copyrighted material via other subscriptions is a minefield we can’t really advertise or get into here.
