BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. (WBOY) — The Bridgeport Farmer’s Market is officially underway in 2024, kicking off its 16th season on Sunday.

In 2024 The Bridgeport Farmer’s Market will be held every Sunday through Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Charles Pointe.

Co-founder and Director of the Bridgeport Farmer’s Market Debbie Workman described each week’s farmer’s market as a mini festival, with live music, food trucks and dozens of vendors or attendees to browse.

“99% of what is sold at this market is either grown, produced, baked, handcrafted, by somebody in West Virginia, by a small family-owned business,” Workman said. “You’re going to find seasonal produce and farm-fresh eggs and West Virginia honey and baked goods and artisan products, and just the whole gamut.”

Remember that as the seasons change, so will the local produce that’s available at the farmer’s market, so be sure to stop in as the year goes on to see what fruits and vegetables are available from local farmers.
