Bag containing £200,000 worth of jewellery stolen from commuter

Just before 7pm on December 14 2023, the victim boarded a train heading towards Edinburgh at Kings Cross railway station, followed by a small group.

After the victim placed their bag down, two of the group distracted the victim whilst another person took the bag and left the train, British Transport Police said.

Investigating BTP officers have released images of people they believe may have information that could help with their investigation.
