Cork travel recap – Full road closure on South Ring after afternoon crash

South Ring traffic heading off the N40 to avoid the closure is causing a bit of build up on routes around the southside this evening

Extremely slow-moving through Wilton, the Wilton Road and parts of Bishopstown Road this evening.

Standstill traffic in all the usual hotspots this evening – Frankfield Road, Model Farm Road, the Straight Road, up along Penrose Quay, Sundays Well. Carrs Hill also pretty built up now too.

South Link moving fine. North Link a bit slower with usual delays around Blackpool.

N25 both ways by the Dunkettle Interchange and Little Island also delayed, particularly slow heading towards the city. Moving fine once it hits the flyover.

Usual heavy traffic through the city centre too, but moving as normal for now.
