JET saves quarter of a million meals in Germany

[ad_1]

The retailer has reached an important milestone as part of its successful cooperation with Too Good To Go to fight food waste.

JET is celebrating an important milestone in its partnership with the Too Good To Go platform after saving over 250,000 bags of food.

After a year of association, both companies have been able to sell almost 700 bags per day of surplus food, with an average customer rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars. The initiative involves the preparation of surprise bags for customers to buy through the app at a third of the original price.

This cooperation has thus established itself as another attractive component in JET’s range, which ensures that its customers are simply better on the move.

“Sustainable concepts, for example in the energy supply of filling stations, the expansion of the e-charging infrastructure or the fight against food waste, play a major role for JET,” explains Oliver Reichert, Manager Retail at JET Tankstellen Deutschland GmbH.

More than 400 JET service stations throughout Germany are currently participating in the partnership.
